      Join Rebekah Wiggins as she teaches her New Mexico Chubbuck Intensive Workshop for Beginners, Advanced, and Master students! Rebekah’s students have gone on to book dozens of roles in film & TV and win awards for their performances (including even an Emmy!). Wiggins began working in film as an actor in 2006. She’s won “Best Actress” awards for her work in short films presented at the 2008 48-Hour Film Festival (Down the Road), twice in 2011 for the 48-Hour Film Festival and National Film Challenge (Drain and Click.Flash.), and most recently at the Palms Springs AMFM Fest (Dead Celebrity). She’s been in major motion pictures like Brothers, Let Me In, Fright Night, Sunshine Cleaning, Frontera, Ten Years, and War on Everyone. Wiggins acting work in television can be seen on WGN America’s Manhattan where she plays a 1940s housewife named Gladys. She can also be seen in television series such as In Plain Sight, Longmire, Killer Women, The Night Shift, @tagged, and Preacher. In 2009 Rebekah began working as an independent producer. Since then she’s produced six short films, a thirteen-episode web series, and a feature film. Two of the six short films she’s produced were awarded “Best Film” at various festivals. Twice in 2011 Wiggins shorts we’re awarded “Best Film” at the 48 Hour Film Festival and the National Film Challenge (Drain and Click.Flash.). She also produced the dark quirky web series, Date Doctor. This series is modern dating meets urban legend. Wiggins most recent short, Mrs. Murphy’s Confession, is a coming of middle-age dramedy that pits a small town housewife armed with a vibrator against an alcoholic parish priest. It’s currently in post-production and will make festival tours in the Fall of 2016. Wiggins first feature film Those Who Wait (produced/starred in) is a dark psychological thriller in which she plays Emily Founder, a woman who’s survived a brutal car accident and is struggling to separate fact from fiction. This film is currently in post-production and will be released Spring of 2017. As founder of Southwest Scene Works, Wiggins’ acting students have booked roles on Longmire, Better Call Saul, Shot Caller, The Night Shift, Priceless, Gold, Highly Functional, 2 Years of Love, Preacher, Villa Capri, Monster's of God, and Independence Day: Resurgence.
